Their primary responsibility is to operate and oversee the shake out process, which involves removing and separating newly formed metal parts or components from the molds or patterns in which they were created. This job requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and knowledge of safety protocols. Here is a detailed job description for a Sheet Metal Fabrication Shake Out Operator:


Job Summary:

The Sheet Metal Fabrication Shake Out Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently removing sheet metal parts from molds or patterns after the fabrication process. They must ensure that the parts are separated without causing damage and that the workspace is kept clean and organized.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Shake Out Equipment: Operate machinery such as vibratory shakeout machines, conveyor systems, hand tools or hydraulic systems to remove sheet metal parts from molds or patterns.
