Consistent, reliable product quality atHydrafacial depends on skilled inspection at every stage of the manufacturing process. The Sr Quality Control Inspector performs detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products while mentoring junior inspectors, driving corrective actions, and helping to build the inspection capability that keepsHydrafacial's QMS operating at its highest standard.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Perform detailed inspections of raw materials, components, and finished products to ensure adherence to specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshooting of quality issues;identifyand recommend corrective actions to resolve problems promptly.
  • Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions accurately andmaintaindetailed quality records.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to improve production efficiency and minimize defects.
  • Collaborate with production managers and engineers to address quality issues, provide feedback, and drive corrective action implementation.
  • Train and mentor junior quality control inspectors, ensuring consistency andproficiencyin inspection processes.
  • Stay current on industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices in quality control and implement them effectively.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORRequired
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of experience in quality control inspection in the medical device industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control procedures, standards, and methodologies.
  • Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Experience generating and managing nonconformance reports and corrective action documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills with the ability toidentifydeviations and recommend solutions.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Preferred

  • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience in ISO 13485-certified manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with cGMP and 21 CFR Part 820 requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB
  • Manufacturing environmentrequiringprolonged standing and active movement on the production floor throughout the shift.
  • Frequent use of precision measuring instruments, inspection tools, and testing equipment.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to manufacturing noise, machinery, and industrial conditions;appropriate PPErequired.
  • Requires bending, reaching, and occasional crouching to access components for inspection.

Base Pay Range: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour + Bonus

An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, travel requirements, revenue-based metrics, any contractual agreements, and business or organizational needs.
