A leading electronics testing company is seekinga Quality Technician to

support mechanical inspection, metrology, calibration, and quality assurance activities within a precision manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for inspecting precision-machined components, operating advanced measurement equipment, supporting non-conformance investigations, and helping maintain compliance with quality standards.

Quality Technician Responsibilities:

  • Perform mechanical inspections of precision-machined components using CMM (optical and touch probe), interferometry systems, laser micrometers, and other advanced metrology equipment.
  • Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to verify product conformance and ensure accurate inspection results.
  • Perform calibrations of metrology equipment and maintain related documentation and records.
  • Support Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) activities related to Non-Conformance Reports, including thorough documentation, investigation support, and follow-up actions.
  • Assist with quality, manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities while performing other assigned duties within the quality organization.

Quality Technician Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a quality control (QC) and manufacturing environment is essential.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Experience with CMM inspection and advanced metrology equipment.
