Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented QC Inspector to join a fast-paced cosmetics manufacturing facility in Riverside. The QC Inspector will be responsible for inspecting products, packaging, materials, and production processes to ensure they meet company quality standards and specifications.


Schedule
  • Monday–Thursday: 4/10 schedule
  • 10+ hour shifts
  • Overtime: Mandatory
  • Overtime will include either Friday or Saturday, based on operational needs
  • Must be flexible to work extended hours and overtime as required

Responsibilities
  • Inspect finished products and in-process materials for quality, appearance, and compliance with specifications.
  • Perform quality inspections throughout the production process.
  • Check cosmetics, aerosol products, hair products, makeup, packaging, labels, and components for defects.
  • Identify, document, and report quality issues or non-conforming products.
  • Perform measurements and quality checks using appropriate inspection tools and equipment.
  • Follow established quality control procedures, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Complete inspection reports, production records, and other required documentation accurately.
  • Communicate quality concerns to Production Supervisors and management.
  • Assist with investigating quality issues and identifying potential causes.
  • Verify that products are properly packaged, labeled, and meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct routine inspections of production lines and finished goods.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and GMP procedures.


Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a QC Inspector, Quality Control Technician, Quality Assurance Inspector, or similar role preferred.
  • Manufacturing or production experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience in cosmetics, pharmaceutical, food, or consumer products manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify product defects.
  • Ability to accurately complete paperwork and maintain quality records.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to work a 4/10 schedule and mandatory overtime.
  • Must be available to work either Friday or Saturday for overtime as required.
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and move around production areas.
  • Ability to inspect products and packaging for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required.
  • Must be able to wear required PPE.
  • Must be able to work safely around manufacturing equipment and production lines.
