Quality Control Inspector II
Job Description

CTL Aerospace is a full service NADCAP certified composite-manufacturing company providing services to the major aerospace and governmental organizations since 1946. CTL specializes in the manufacturing of Fiber Reinforced Polymer Structures.
We are seeking a talented Quality Control Inspector to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment at our northern Cincinnati, Ohio location (less than 30 minutes from Dayton and/or northern Kentucky).
Essential Job Functions
Meets or exceeds all criteria for Quality Control Inspector I
  • Perform dimensional/visual inspections on components and final assemblies using monitoring and measuring equipment (M amp;ME) according to production schedule
  • Must comply with internal quality system, business policies, and regulatory requirements and
  • supports business goals and objectives
  • Work with others in a teamwork atmosphere
  • Maintains work-station cleanliness on daily basis
  • Experienced reading and understand blueprints, travelers/routers, and work instructions
  • Can utilize basic shop math skills to aid with tolerancing and obtaining measurements of product
  • Basic knowledge of GD amp;T tolerancing
  • Basic understanding of utilizing an ERP system
  • Experience with generating inspection reports and FAI reports
  • Ability to Multi-task
  • Basic Understanding in issuing Nonconforming Reports
  • Capable of working with minimal supervision to support manufacturing needs
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications
  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 yrs. experience related to precision manufacturing and inspection (Aerospace Industry with emphasis on composite manufacturing a plus)
  • Ability to interact with people on the floor, good social skills, and able to work with diverse work groups
  • Good analytical, writing and communication skills
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment and lift up to 50 lbs.
