  • $20.78 base rate; increases every 6 months for first 36 months to $27.18
    • $2.00 shift premium on 2nd & $1.50 shift premium for 3rd shift

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements. Knowledge of safety equipment in order to know what to wear during certain tasks to prevent safety issues.
  • Inspection of initial samples prior to release to the OEM .
  • Inspection of products at assigned station to quality standards, at the required frequency and time. 
  • Immediately report all non-conformities of quality, work standards and rules to the Quality Team Leader and Supervisor .
  • Document all issues found in assigned station and the final disposition.
  • Practice 5S in the assigned work area. Keep the work stations, tools and gauges clean and organized.
  • Follow all work orders given by Team Leader, Supervisor, and Management. 
  • Continuous application of education material .
  • Understand the work process of Process Quality Team; Teamwork is essential.
  • Lean duties and responsibilities of Process Auditor and Receiving Inspector.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Skills, and/or Experience Required

  • 0-3 years of experience in quality control
  • 0-3 years of experience in manufacturing/automotive environment
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Good verbal and written communication skills 
  • The ability to follow documented procedures and work standards
  • The ability to pay attention to work detail
  • The ability to keep accurate records
  • The ability to work under pressure
  • The ability to work independently
