Position Summary

Insures through Quality Line Audits that all products are produced according to the specifications and HACCP plan. Assist production in avoiding any food safety issues and notifies management of any quality issues or food safety issues.

Position Responsibilities/Major Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Shall communicate with all plant management and Quality Control Manager concerning all pertinent food safety and quality issues. Will be responsible for putting any questionable product on Hold for disposition.
  • Conducts line audits to insure products are produced according to established specifications and food safety requirements.
  • Assist on self inspections and will inspect idle equipment to insure proper cleaning practices are being utilized.
Preferred Experience

1 - 2 years experience in food related manufacturing facility. Quality Control experience in a food manufacturing facility.

Preferred Education

College degree in Food Science or related field with HACCP certification.

  • Llevar a cabo auditorias en las lineas de produccion para asegurar que todos los productos sean fabricados deacuerdo a las especificaciones establecidas y a los requerimientos de la seguridad de los alimentos.
  • Asistir en la inspeccion de equipos inactivos para asegurar que se esten utilizando las practicas de limpieza adecuadas.
Experiencia

Se prefiere tener de 1 a 2 anos de experiencia en control de calidad de alimentos o haber trabajado para una compania productora de alimentos.

Educacion

Se prefiere que tenga grado de universidad en Ciencia de Alimentos con certificacion HACCP.
