QC Associate II
We are partnering with a multi-product biopharmaceutical manufacturing facility to place a QC Associate II within their Physical-Chemical Testing group. This role is well-suited to a detail-oriented analytical professional who can execute both routine and non-routine testing across bulk drug substance, finished product, and raw material matrices. Type: 6-month contract | Location: Onsite in Fremont, CA | Hours: M-F 8-5 | Compensation: $30-$33/hr
What You'll Do
  • Independently perform a range of laboratory testing methods following appropriate qualification, including UV-Vis spectroscopy, qPCR, FTIR, and compendial test methods.
  • Coordinate and execute routine and non-routine analytical testing in support of a multi-product facility.
  • Maintain lab consumables and materials inventory, properly dispose of expired reagents, and flag equipment or process irregularities.
  • Generate accurate, timely analytical results with a "right first time" approach.
  • Document all testing activities in full compliance with cGMP and cGDP standards.
  • Follow site-specific SOPs, quality systems, and applicable regulatory requirements.

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Life Sciences, or a related field required.
  • 3-5 years of relevant industry experience.
  • GMP experience strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on proficiency with UV-Vis absorbance, qPCR, and FTIR preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated customer focus with the ability to collaborate across departments and organizational levels.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to meet team and site goals.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on execution accuracy.
