What this job involves:

As a Sustainability Analyst at JLL, you will provide critical support to the Global Design and Construction Sustainability program team serving a global financial services client. You will be responsible for managing and developing data and content that drives the client's design and construction sustainability program forward. At JLL, we are collectively shaping a brighter way - for our clients, ourselves and our fellow employees. In this role, you will analyze sustainability project data, track program performance against environmental and financial goals, and summarize complex datasets into clear, actionable metrics for diverse stakeholders. You will collaborate closely with the client's technology and reporting teams, sustainability consultants, and program management to maintain dashboards, create deliverables, and support green building certification efforts. We believe the most effective teams are built when everyone is empowered to thrive, and your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential to measuring and communicating program success. Through data integrity management, stakeholder coordination across the client's design and construction, facilities management, marketing, and branding teams, and strategic research, you will help advance sustainability objectives across the client's global portfolio.

What your day-to-day will look like:

  • Analyze and maintain sustainability project data for the global design and construction sustainability program, tracking performance against stated goals for energy, water, waste, and emissions

  • Ensure data quality meets client and stakeholder needs for measurement and reporting across the portfolio

  • Summarize data into appropriate metrics to communicate program achievements, progress, and opportunities for improvement, including environmental performance and financial outcomes such as cost premiums, savings, and payback periods

  • Collaborate with the client's technology and reporting team to maintain and improve the sustainability dashboard

  • Coordinate with sustainability consultants and program management to create presentations, trainings, playbooks, guides, and other project deliverables

  • Support the sustainability consulting team with operational and performance data needed for green building certification processes

  • Organize stakeholder communication to design and construction leadership and across related teams, including facilities management, marketing, branding, and other departments as needed

  • Identify improvement opportunities and develop practical solutions through collaboration with internal client teams and external vendor partners

  • Research industry trends, emerging regulations, and sustainability best practices to inform strategy for the financial services sector

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field

  • 0 - 3 years practical experience

  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and managing sustainability or environmental performance data

  • High proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, particularly Microsoft Excel

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex data into clear insights for diverse audiences

  • Exceptional attention to detail with commitment to data accuracy and quality control

  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and support senior leadership

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience in sustainability consulting, corporate sustainability, or commercial real estate serving financial services clients

  • Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and green building certification systems such as LEED, BREEAM, WELL, and/or Living Future certifications (Living Building Challenge, Zero Carbon, Zero Energy)

  • Experience with data visualization platforms, business intelligence tools, or sustainability dashboards

  • Knowledge of design and construction processes and how sustainability is integrated into project delivery

  • Understanding of basic financial analysis including cost-benefit analysis and return on investment calculations

  • Professional certifications in sustainability or energy management (e.g., LEED AP, CEM, GRI)

  • Experience supporting program management or creating training materials and guidance documents

Estimated compensation for this position:

65,000.00 - 80,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
