We value experienced people and are prepared to pay good wages for the right candidate.

About MidAmerica Liner

MidAmerica Liner is an HDPE industrial and municipal liner contractor specializing in wastewater lagoons, anaerobic covers, secondary containment systems, and customized containment solutions.

Our experienced installation teams complete new construction, upgrades, and repairs for damaged or underperforming HDPE systems. We are known for practical problem-solving, safe work, strong installation value, and dependable project results.

We maintain a collaborative culture in which employees are trusted with responsibility, recognized for their contributions, and given opportunities to grow.

What Youโ€™ll Do
  • Monitor HDPE geomembrane installation and repair work for compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, manufacturer requirements, and company quality standards
  • Perform and document field quality control testing, including applicable destructive and nondestructive seam testing
  • Conduct visual inspections of panels, seams, penetrations, patches, repairs, and completed work
  • Verify that welding equipment, testing equipment, and field procedures meet project requirements
  • Review trial welds and production seam test results
  • Track panel placement, seam identification, repairs, test locations, and other required installation data
  • Prepare accurate daily QA/QC reports and maintain organized project quality records
  • Identify nonconforming work and communicate issues promptly to supervisors, project managers, and installation crews
  • Help determine the cause of quality issues and confirm that corrective work has been completed properly
  • Read and interpret project drawings, specifications, panel layouts, and quality control requirements
  • Work collaboratively with field crews to prevent problems and continuously improve installation quality
  • Support project closeout documentation and customer or third-party inspections
  • Promote safe, professional work practices on every jobsite
What Weโ€™re Looking For

Preferred qualifications:

  • Previous experience with HDPE geomembrane installation, inspection, welding, testing, or repair
  • Working knowledge of wedge welding, extrusion welding, trial seams, destructive seam testing, and nondestructive testing methods
  • Experience completing QA/QC reports, seam logs, repair logs, panel placement records, and related field documentation
  • Ability to recognize workmanship issues and determine whether installed work meets project requirements
  • Ability to read technical drawings, specifications, and panel layouts
  • Strong attention to detail and a consistent, methodical approach to documentation
  • Clear communication skills and the confidence to address quality concerns professionally
  • Ability to work effectively with installers, supervisors, project managers, inspectors, engineers, and customers
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and a dependable work history

Relevant industry certifications or technical training are a plus. Experience with industrial liners, municipal wastewater systems, earthwork, civil construction, or related containment systems will also be considered.

Work Requirements
  • Travel to jobsites across the country
  • Ability to work outdoors in changing weather and on active construction sites
  • Ability to walk on slopes and uneven terrain and perform the physical duties required for field inspection and testing
  • Availability to work extended hours or changing schedules when project conditions require it
  • Commitment to following company and jobsite safety requirements
Why Join MidAmerica Liner?
  • Strong, competitive pay for qualified candidates
  • Full-time work with an established liner contractor
  • Challenging industrial and municipal containment projects
  • A hands-on position with meaningful responsibility
  • A team culture that values experience, accountability, and quality workmanship
  • Opportunities to expand your technical knowledge and grow with the company

If you have geomembrane installation or QA/QC experience and want to work for a company that values quality and rewards skilled people, we want to hear from you.
