About the Opportunity
As a Load Inspector at EMR, you'll play a key role in our daily operations at our Becker, MN site. In this role, you'll assist equipment operators by identifying customer materials and directing traffic throughout the yard.
What You'll Do
  • Inspect and grade incoming and outgoing loads for quality, weight, packaging, hazardous materials and safety
  • Communicate inspection results to operators and other yard staff
  • Complete inspection reports and tickets as needed
  • Direct on-site traffic to ensure materials are unloaded in correct locations
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and perform other assigned tasks

  • Ability to work independently and as a team with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to lift and carrying up to 50 pounds
  • Work in outdoor conditions year-round
  • Knowledge of metal grades is a plus
