In this role, you’ll own the continuous improvement and daily execution of our Quality Management System, ensuring our products and processes meet ISO 9001, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Have you led a quality team and delivered results?

You will manage, mentor, and hold accountable a team of technicians and inspectors, align quality goals with business-unit KPIs, and report progress that drives action.

Are audits and compliance second nature?

You’ll plan and execute internal and external audits, and you’ll support audit activities across other Elemet business units as needed.

Is supplier quality your strong suit?

From certificates of conformance and sampling inspections to chemical/physical test reports and first article inspections, you will manage process approvals, inspection plans, material approvals, test/inspection reports, SPC, Corrective Action Requests (CAR), and maintain the approved supplier list.

Do you excel at problem-solving and closing the loop?

Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions with customers, suppliers, and manufacturing. Drive timely, effective CAR closure through review boards. Oversee nonconforming material via RMA/DMR, and chair MRB for final disposition.

Are you fluent in metrology?

Oversee inspection/testing of tools and equipment, manage calibration systems with traceability, and ensure inspection/testing sequences are embedded in quality planning. Confirm in-process/final inspection data and SPC are captured per the Quality Control Plan.

Can you manage resources wisely?

Own the Quality Department budget and allocate resources to high-impact initiatives.

Your background
  • Bachelor’s in Business Management, Engineering, or related (quality focus preferred).
  • 10+ years in quality management or adjacent disciplines.
  • Track record leading ISO 9001 audits and sustaining certification.
Your toolkit
  • MS Office proficiency and comfort with CIM systems/data retrieval.
  • Formal training in root cause analysis and ISO principles (5 Why, etc.).
  • Metrology and calibration program management expertise.
  • Hands-on CMM experience; FARO familiarity preferred.
  • PFMEA and control plan development.
  • Project leadership that moves the needle on efficiency and quality.
  • SPC, TQM, monitoring/control techniques, defect/data analysis, variance reduction, capability analysis, and GD&T.
