Job Title: Quality Control Manager
Pay Rate: $75k
Working Status: Full-Time
Job Location: Athens, Georgia, United States

Position Purpose

The Quality Control Manager provides leadership to the Quality Department and oversees the Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure products meet customer, internal, IATF 16949, and regulatory requirements. The role evaluates manufacturing processes to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and timeliness while minimizing cost.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and supervision to the Quality Department.
  • Lead Quality Engineers, Inspectors, and Technicians.
  • Ensure QMS compliance with customer, internal, IATF 16949, and regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate and report on supplier quality systems.
  • Oversee incoming material inspection and product/process quality.
  • Lead quality audits, corrective actions, and resolution of quality issues..
  • Manage calibration, measurement, and monitoring of quality equipment.
  • Drive continuous improvement, Kaizen, 5S, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Report QMS performance, audit results, and corrective actions to the Leadership Team.
  • Support employee training, development, and performance management.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
