Job description

  • 15+ years of IT experience, including 4-5 years in managing Data QA projects.
  • Prior hands-on QA experience in Snowflake, Informatica CDV/DVO, SQL, Oracle, API Testing using Postman, Python libraries for QA automation.
  • Hands on experience managing team s deliverables using agile boards such as: Rally / Jira / Azure DevOps.
  • Prior experience in managing large QA initiatives in a customer-facing role.
  • Strong experience in onsite-offshore delivery model.
  • Strong project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement data quality strategy, test approach, and QA processes
  • Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure alignment
  • Oversee development and execution of automation frameworks for data testing
  • Lead and manage Data QA analysts and automation engineers, including task planning, execution tracking, mentoring, and performance reviews.
  • Plan and allocate QA resources, including interview panels and team capacity
  • Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance standards
  • Drive test automation using Python to validate largescale datasets, schemas, metrics, and regression scenarios.
  • Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and automation coverage.
  • Solve impediments for executing the QA strategy by addressing technical and dependency complexity.
  • Plan for risk management, anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate risks and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Manage internal as well as external stakeholder expectations.
