A national specialty contractor with multi-trade capabilities across mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building technologies is hiring a QA/QC Electrical Project Manager to support mission critical construction projects in the Kansas City metro. The company operates across the U.S. and is known for its single-source delivery model, safety culture, and investment in virtual design and fabrication capabilities. • GSA Per Diem rates apply when assigned to out-of-area jobsites
  • Full suite of benefits: Health (HSA-eligible)/Dental/Vision, 401k with 3% fully vested company contribution + discretionary annual contribution, PTO, etc.
  • Site-based project work (field)

Overview:

  • Own and execute QA/QC activities across all phases of electrical construction on mission critical projects, ensuring work meets contract documents, codes, and client standards from mobilization through turnover

  • Build and maintain complete QA/QC documentation packages, coordinating between project teams, inspectors, and client stakeholders throughout construction
  • Keep schedules, budgets, and quality outcomes aligned — escalate proactively, not reactively
  • Manage relationships with clients, subcontractors, inspectors, and community officials; represent the company's standards on every interaction
  • Travel to out-of-area jobsite assignments as required; this is a site-based role that moves with the work

Preferred Skills/Experiences:

  • Minimum 5 years of electrical construction project management experience on large projects, with direct oversight of electrical construction work
  • QA/QC experience on mission critical or data center construction projects strongly preferred
  • Working proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong written and verbal communication; organizational discipline required for QA/QC documentation demands
  • Valid driver's license with clean MVR; must meet company vehicle operation requirements
  • Must pass criminal background check and drug screen
