Title: Pack QA Inspector I

Reports to: Pack QA Supervisor

Location: Holland, MI

Summary:

This role uses equipment and computerized systems to produce, evaluate, process disassemble suspect or defective lithium-ion batteries. Responsibilities may include disassembling and disposing of scrap/raw materials, filling out reports and escalating results to appropriate team members. Additionally, responsibilities include conducting quality checks, engage in trouble-shooting and basic equipment maintenance throughout the production process, collect qualifying products and package for shipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure quality standards are followed
  • Check product and production process for desired quality to specifications
  • Monitor data from measuring devices
  • Work with teams and individuals to safety standards are being adhered
  • Assemble and disassemble equipment
  • Create work orders or instructions as needed
  • Engage in troubleshooting and report issues if not resolved
  • Identify defects during sales analysis
  • Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
    1. Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
    2. Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
  • Follow LGESMI existing cleaning SOP’s during downtime (e.g. line stop, waiting time, etc.), which includes cleaning your designated machine and/or surrounding work area
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Vocational Certificate or Associates Degree preferred or equivalent, relevant experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to properly and regularly utilize the following PPE for a period of up to 12 hours:

    1. Lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
    2. Stoop, twist, bend
