Job description

Job Summary:

EAE USA Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Engineer to manage and oversee the quality assurance/Control processes related to the receiving, warehousing, and shipping of electric busways and busway tap off boxes. This role will also involve performing quality control on incoming products and materials, as well as supporting the upcoming busway tap off box assembly operations.

Physical location of the position will be Adairsville GA. Position will be responsible for the quality assurance/control both in Adairsville and Tucker.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols and procedures.
  • Conduct quality control inspections on incoming final products and materials.
  • Manage quality assurance processes across all operations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop and publish quality management reports.
  • Lead and implement the document management system.
  • Support the assembly operations of busway tap off boxes, ensuring adherence to quality specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective/preventive action plan and implement.
  • Train and mentor staff on quality assurance procedures and best practices.
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct quality audits to ensure Quality assurance/control over materials/products/processes, as well as conformance to business processes affecting quality.
  • Following up Customer complaint/claim with related departments.

 

Required Skills/Abilities: 

  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance/control methodologies, tools, and standards including but not limited to FMEA, QCP, APQP, PPAP, CAPA, SOP.
  • Quality management system certification (ISO 9001 or IATF 16949)
  • Experience with quality control inspections and process improvements.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Preferred Six Sigma Green Belt but not required.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least over 3+ years of experience in quality assurance or quality control, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Previous experience as an electrician or working in an environment where electrical equipment was manufactured.


Physical Requirements: 

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
