QA Associate โ€“ Livermore, CA

Lobos Staffing is hiring a QA Associate for a temp-to-perm opportunity in Livermore, CA.

Schedule: Mondayโ€“Friday, 7:00 AMโ€“3:30 PM
Pay: $26โ€“$30/hour, DOE
Must be available for overtime and occasional weekends.

Job Summary

The QA Associate supports quality and food safety programs while ensuring manufacturing standards comply with FDA, GMP, HACCP, and food safety requirements. This position works closely with the QA Manager and Production team.

Responsibilities

  • Review and issue batch records and manufacturing documentation.
  • Review completed production records for accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate COAs and assist with finished product release.
  • Maintain QA logs, specifications, training records, and quality documentation.
  • Assist with audits, customer complaints, investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Support GMP, food safety, and quality programs.
  • Ensure documentation is organized and audit-ready.
  • Work closely with Production and QA teams to resolve discrepancies and meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • 1โ€“3 years of QA experience preferred; dietary supplement experience is a plus.
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Science, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, allergens, food safety, and quality control.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
  • Ability to learn ERP and quality management systems.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
  • Must be available for overtime and occasional weekends.
