Job description

Job Objective:

To assist quality assurance specialists with completing audits and or chart reviewal as needed. To ensure that agency policies regarding progress notes are adhered to, by reviewing and maintaining progress notes submitted by direct care staff members. To train direct care staff members providing IIH, MHSS, and other services as needed.

Accountable To:

Quality Assurance Director and Business Director

Responsibilities:

Listing and informing quality assurance specialist of progress or lack of progress regarding note submission and quality.

Informing quality assurance of progress notes submitted late or not at all.

Reviewing files and or documents assigned by quality assurance specialist.

Submitting reports regarding progress notes and or CAPs within 24 hours of task completion.

Reviewing all timely submitted progress notes, including providing necessary feedback by 5pm Wednesday evening.

Training Staff members

Qualifications:

Bachelors, depending on experience or Master’s level degree from an accredited university in the following: Psychology, Social Work, Human Services, or any other related field.

Professional experience in psychology, social work, nursing, education, adjunctive therapy, case management, staff development, or a closely related area, involving the development, implementation, or monitoring of treatment/habilitation plans or staff training functions pertaining to programs and services for persons with mental illness and/or developmental disabilities.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
