Quality Assurance Inspector
Hamilton Connections is looking for a Quality Assurance Inspector for a manufacturing company in the Waterbury area. This position is for a manufacturing business that makes small precision machined parts. This is a temp-to-hire position.
This position works 6:00 - 4:30 M-Th.
Responsibilities
Inspect manufactured parts for visual, dimensional, & functional requirements
Verify machine setup sample parts
Document inspection findings on reports & records
Communicate with others on technical matters
Check packaging, labeling, material handling, & storage
Qualifications
Proficiency measuring & testing with various precision measuring instruments
Read & interpret technical drawings (including GD&T)
Follow test procedures & work instructions
Knowledge of manufacturing processes
Experience creating reports
Promote process Improvement
Ability to analyze Information
Good written & verbal communication on technical matters
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, & Outlook
Ability to inspect small precision parts visually with & without magnification
