Quality Assurance Administrator

Join King Machine – Precision Manufacturing for the Aerospace Industry

King Machine is an AS9100-certified aerospace manufacturer specializing in the production of precision CNC machined parts and assemblies for customers around the world. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Quality Assurance Administrator to join our Quality team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with AS9100 requirements, and maintaining the documentation and inspection processes required by the aerospace industry.

Key Responsibilities

As the Quality Assurance Administrator, you will:

  • Generate, manage, and submit AS9102 First Article Inspection (FAI) Reports using Ideagen (formerly InspectionXpert), Net-Inspect, and Microsoft Excel.
  • Coordinate First Article Inspection activities throughout the production cycle for first-run aerospace components.
  • Perform engineering derivative approvals utilizing CATIA/Enovia.
  • Administer the company's calibration program by scheduling internal and external calibrations and maintaining calibration records and software databases.
  • Develop and maintain the annual Internal Audit schedule and conduct internal audits as assigned by the Quality Manager.
  • Support customer source inspectors during on-site inspections.
  • Provide administrative support to the Quality Inspection department.
  • Assist with receiving, in-process, assembly, and final inspections as workload requires.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with AS9100 quality system requirements.
  • Perform other quality-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience preparing, managing, and submitting AS9102 First Article Inspection Reports.
  • Experience using FAI software such as Ideagen (InspectionXpert), Net-Inspect, or similar applications.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written communication, grammar, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CATIA, Enovia, NX, or similar CAD interrogation software.
  • Aerospace manufacturing or quality inspection experience.
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
  • Internal auditing experience.
  • Calibration program administration experience.

Compensation & Schedule

Pay: $25.00–$33.00 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday | Day Shift

Overtime: This position is eligible for overtime based on business needs.
