Quality Engineer

Responsibilities
The Quality Engineer is responsible for resolving manufacturing and shipment issues related to customer specifications while supporting quality system requirements and continuous improvement initiatives. This role drives root cause and corrective action activities, supports documentation and quality manual maintenance, partners with cross-functional teams, and ensures product and process integrity. The Quality Engineer plays a critical role in strengthening customer confidence, improving manufacturing outcomes, and enabling long-term quality performance.

Qualifications
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship available)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Engineering, or similar discipline
  • 3 years of Quality and/or Engineering experience with strong analytical, dimensional, and technical skills
  • Working knowledge of quality system standards such as AS9100 or NADCAP
  • Demonstrated proficiency in root cause and corrective action methodologies
  • Experience using structured problem-solving tools (such as 8D)
  • Experience with APQP and PPAP processes
  • ASQ certifications (CQA, CQE) preferred
  • Experience in aerospace or automotive environments
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong PC skills and commitment to continuous improvement
