Job Summary
We are seeking a Materials Logistics Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will maintain inventory, prepare and fulfill orders, and keep the warehouse well-organized. Responding to orders quickly and accurately is an essential part of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly organized, with strong attention to detail and previous experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities
  • Load and unload materials
  • Inspect deliveries to ensure all materials meet quality standards
  • Use forklifts and other equipment to optimize the organization and storage of stock
  • Review pick tickets and pull material to accurately fulfill orders
  • Package orders and put on trucks for delivery
  • Monitor inventory levels, order and restock when necessary
  • Maintain detailed records of orders, materials, and inventory
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Materials Handler or in a similar position
  • Valid forklift certification
  • Familiarity with voice picking systems or RF devices is preferred
  • Familiarity with and ability to use industrial equipment
  • Excellent attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
  • Highly organized
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, including lifting heavy objects
  • Availability to work overtime when necessary
  • Bilingual appreciated
