What You'll Be Doing (Role/Responsibilities) Develop front-end systems with JavaScript, AngularJS, Node.js, Bootstrap, Backbone, HTML5, CSS and MVC frameworks such as Ember, Dojo, etc. Fulfills the role of developer for Web Application development and integration with complex back end systems and Mobile Application interfaces. Designs web components following a flat application design supported on multiple browser platforms, including tablet
Partner and work closely with the product and services teams to translate wireframes, and designs into code What You Need to Bring to the Table (Education/Experience) Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline Minimum of (2) years of professional experience building rich, single-page applications using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery, Underscore, LESS, etc) Experience with responsive web design & responsive frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation) Experience developing web applications that consume RESTful APIs and JSON. Javascript Framework Experience (at least one of the following: Node.js, AngularJS, Backbone, Knockout, SailJS, Ember). Experience working in an Agile (Scrum) Environment in a startup company environment
Experience using git version control. Experience with deployment to Amazon AWS. Knowledge of common UI testing frameworks (e.g
Jasmine, JSCoverage) Understanding of UX principles and best practices. Knowledge of common browser developer tools and performance tuning techniques
