Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Occasional schedule adjustments such as on the road routes based on business needs. Majority of driving is local.
Pay: $28.50 per hour

Quality Electrical Systems (QES) is seeking dependable and safety-focused CDL A Drivers to join our growing team. We are hiring multiple drivers to support our manufacturing operations and transportation needs.
This is a local driving position with a variety of responsibilities, including:
* Transporting materials and equipment between QES facilities
* Hauling scrap materials to local recycling yards
* Supporting local deliveries and transportation activities as needed
* Assisting with loading, unloading, and shipping operations when required

Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate company vehicles in accordance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
* Transport materials, products, and equipment between company facilities and designated locations.
* Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance concerns.
* Secure cargo using straps, chains, blocks, and other load securement equipment.
* Maintain accurate delivery documentation and shipping records.
* Communicate delays, incidents, or vehicle issues promptly.
* Load and unload materials safely using appropriate equipment.
* Assist with shipping and material handling activities as needed.
* Maintain a professional appearance and represent QES positively with customers, vendors, and team members.
* Keep vehicles clean and organized in accordance with company 5S standards.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
* Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
* Must have or be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card prior to hire.
* Ability to pass an MVR screening in accordance with company standards.
* Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and participate in random testing as required by DOT regulations.
* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
* Ability to read and understand written instructions.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Forklift experience preferred; certification may be obtained after hire.
* Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds.
