Class B Delivery Driver - Aurora, CO

Delivery Driver (Class B) The Delivery Driver is responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to customers, ensuring accurate deliveries and excellent customer service. Will operate commercial vehicle or box truck for various routes to deliver products or material. This role involves loading and unloading vehicles, planning routes, and adhering to safety and company standards.

What you'll do:

  • Deliver Goods: Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers as per assigned routes and schedules.
  • Load and Unload: Assist with loading and unloading products, ensuring items are handled properly to avoid damage.
  • Route Management: Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries while optimizing fuel and time.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively and professionally during deliveries.
  • Documentation: Verify delivery accuracy by obtaining signatures, completing delivery logs, and reporting any issues or discrepancies.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine vehicle checks, report maintenance needs, and keep the vehicle clean and organized.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during deliveries.
  • Problem Resolution: Handle delivery challenges, such as incorrect addresses or customer concerns, and report unresolved issues to management.
  • Support Warehouse Operations: Assist with basic warehouse tasks when not on delivery routes, such as organizing inventory or preparing orders.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience: 12 months (+) of recent and verifiable commercial driving experience.
  • Familiar with FMCSA rules and regulations.
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical with current valid med card in the state licensed.
  • Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns is an advantage.
  • Licenses: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Skills: Safe driving record with customer service mindset.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Comfortable with long periods of driving and physically demanding tasks like lifting and carrying.

Schedule: 4:00am - 12:30pm or 5:00am - 1:30pm

Compensation: $25 - 27/hr
