Job description

We are seeking an Entry Level Inspector to join our team.  You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tap measure, height gage and NPT threaded gages

Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material

Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products

Implement and improve quality control operating procedures

Participate in routine visual inspections

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Ability to enter data into report

Qualifications:

At least 6 months experience

Experience with fittings flanges pipe preferred

Forklift experience

Reach truck experience

Must be able to do simple math

Ability to interpret technical product specs

Strong attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Computer proficiency

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel (SharePoint a plus)

First Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Work Environment: Extreme heat and cold temperatures may be encountered during the course of the work day.

Safety boots required.
