Data Reviewers for Client Data Transfers
Locations: Tampa, Jacksonville, Dallas

We are seeking mulitiple Data Reviewers for Client Data Transfers. Thisprofessional ensures the secure, accurate, and compliant transfer of client matter materials in the context of attorneys changing firms, transferring data to co-counsel or the firm's outside counsel, or other scenarios when it is necessary to transfer client matter data other than as part of the discovery process. This role sits within the Legal Department and focuses on identifying, collecting, reviewing, and culling client matter data before it leaves the firm's systems.
Key Responsibilities
  • Data Review & Quality Control: Review digital client matter materials for relevance, confidentiality, and privilege.
  • Transfer Coordination: Manage the transfer process for outgoing client matter data.
  • Risk Management: Analyze data for sensitive information and identify information that should not be transferred.
  • Metadata & Coding: Utilize tools and systems to tag, categorize, and verify documents.
  • Inventory Reconciliation: Compare transferring data against audit logs to ensure accuracy in the transfer.
  • Compliance: Adhere to ethics obligations regarding attorney-client privilege, data protection laws (GDPR), and firm policies.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on transfer progress, highlighting missing information or potential discrepancies.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in litigation support, eDiscovery, due diligence document review, or Information Governance within a law firm.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in document management systems, Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), and data review applications.
  • Legal Knowledge: Familiarity with common data forms found in various types of client matter representations.
