ABOUT THE ROLE


Collects samples and performs accurate quality control testing to ensure product quality. Provides verbalย and/or written test results to management and production staff in a timely manner. Assists manager withย customer service issues as directed. Certifies results of laboratory findings. Provides QC support on variousย residential and commercial projects

WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH

  • Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all workย environments and areas.
  • Ensures that all testing is conducted efficiently and consistently to ensure accurate results.
  • Prepare required documents with test results to be presented to production personnel and quality control management.
  • Maintains mix designs as required by DOT or local city/county specifications or to ensure accuracy ofย products used in mix.
  • Records, analyzes, certifies and prepares summaries of findings. Maintains records of test results usingย various databases. Provide technical support for production.
  • Assist in the investigation and testing, and sampling of raw materials and finished products to help solveย quality problems.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety andย environmental policies in all work environments and areas.
  • Promote a culture of safety and exhibit theseย behaviors.
  • Works closely with the Sales and Operations departments to ensure a timely accurate delivery ofย products.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Education: High school diploma or equivalent

Additional Education Preferred: Associate's degree

Required Work Experience: 3-5 year

Required Training/Certifications: State regulated or industry certifications, as required

Additional Requirements:

  • Ability to work various hours including weekends and nights.
  • Excellent math skills. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using wholeย numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rates, rations and percentages.
  • Detailed oriented
  • Able to prioritize work
  • Valid Driver's License, Clean Driving Record
  • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approvedย Personal Protection Equipment , including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicableย law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator sealย meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
