Sonoma Tilemakers is currently seeking full-time Production Quality Control Associates (Graveyard shift 11:00 pm - 7:30 am).ย ย

Requirements

Summary of Essential Responsibilities: The QC Associate is responsible for manually placing individual tiles on setters, loading tile to and from the kiln while inspecting the quality of the product by following production and safety procedures. This position involves tasks which include meeting the quality and quantity production standards, packaging tile, boxing, palletizing, moving product for transfer to be shipped, completing required documentation and entering information into the computer system. Regular and consistent attendance is an essential responsibility of this position.

Ability to maintain required productivity and work within quality standards


Qualifications:

Production experience helpful, but not required

Basic English literacy

Basic math skills required

Basic computer competency

Ability to read and follow procedures


Physical Requirements:

Able to lift up to 40lbs. on an infrequent basis

Ability to stand for majority of shift

Ability to see color

Dexterous and able to perform repetitive work with hands


Work Environment:

The working environment is in a warehouse manufacturing setting. Temperatures can exceed 100F during summer months when the kiln is running.
