Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute test plans and test cases to validate privacy requirements (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, GDPR)
• Ensure systems and processes meet regulatory obligations and internal privacy standards
• Validate consent management, data subject rights, and data handling workflows
• Design comprehensive QA strategies for privacy-related systems and initiatives
• Perform functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) support
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Create clear, concise test plans, test cases, defect reports, and QA documentation for privacy compliance initiatives
• Identify and maintain QA deliverables including test strategies, traceability matrices, and compliance validation reports
• Provide detailed reporting on test results, defects, and compliance status
• Ensure end-to-end traceability between privacy requirements, test cases, and results
• Validate that all regulatory and business requirements are adequately tested and met
• Validate data accuracy, integrity, and proper handling of personal and sensitive data
• Participate in requirements reviews to ensure testability and completeness
• Communicate test results, risks, and issues to stakeholders

Qualifications:
Required:
• IS related bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
• 3–6+ years of experience in QA, testing, or compliance-related roles (5–8+ for senior level)
• Experience with software testing methodologies and QA lifecycle
• Understanding of compliance regulations (e.g., CCPA/CPRA, AADC, ADA, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred:
• Experience testing privacy or compliance-related systems (e.g., consent management, etc.)
• Familiarity with QA tools
• Knowledge of data governance, risk, or security practices
• Experience with SQL or data validation techniques
• Exposure to privacy tools (e.g., OneTrust or similar products)
