Job Summary
The Quality Assurance Specialist inspects the completed work of various processes to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met. This role works closely with leadership to identify issue trends and to highlight problem areas that can be addressed. This position is expected to maintain expert knowledge of products and procedures, ensuring alignment with daily goals through regular communication with shift managers and department peers. This role addresses operational issues proactively, offers clear direction, and exemplifies company culture to foster employee engagement and effective communication.

Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • Ensure all products/orders are received, stocked, picked, sorted, or packed with a high level of inventory accuracy and quality
  • Maintain internal error trackers and utilize company systems to track accountability and ensure productivity and accuracy standards are met
  • Inspect inventory for incorrect items or quantities, damaged or expired products and erroneous data entries.
  • Capture pertinent data, focusing on trends and potential training gaps to solve problems and improve the operation
  • Accurately record and maintain daily data sheets and/or reporting forms for submission
  • Assist in providing training to new and current employees to ensure uniform and consistent processes; address and correct any receiving process issues within the department
  • Assist leadership in providing feedback when required
  • Safely operate and maintain warehouse equipment to carry out job duties; adhere to all safety training and Company policies
  • Meet all expected performance standards regarding efficiency, accuracy and quality of work
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety guidelines and reporting any hazards to the appropriate leadership.
  • Work closely with team members and leadership to meet daily, weekly, and monthly departmental goals
  • Abide by all company and warehouse policies
  • Flex into other positions and departments and undertake additional duties as necessary to support the overall operation
Work Hours
1C Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Physical Requirements
  • Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 12 hours/day.
  • Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.
  • Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.
  • Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75lbs.

Experience
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a distribution environment preferred but not required
