Job Summary:
E-volve Technology Systems, Inc. is hiring a Software Tester to support an Intelligence Community program. The role involves developing and executing test plans, collaborating with analysts and engineers, and ensuring software quality through various testing processes.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Create/edit test plans, test cases, scripts, and patches and ensure traceability to requirements
โ€ข Execute test plans, procedures, and scenarios and conduct unit, process, function, system integration, and user acceptance testing
โ€ข Detect, log and track software defects and inconsistencies
โ€ข Document and disseminate test results of all executed test procedures and processes
โ€ข Analyze user stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility in consultation with requirements analysts and software engineers
โ€ข Support product design, code reviews, walk-throughs and product lifecycle inspections
โ€ข Respond to inquiries from customer support and requirements analysts regarding functions and operation of software applications
โ€ข Ensure new applications and software modifications meet requirements and operate satisfactorily in the system environment
โ€ข Plan, coordinate and facilitate all activities to accomplish successful Test Readiness Reviews (TRR) and Production Readiness Reviews (PRR)
โ€ข Update testing and configuration management documentation as required to ensure compliance with audit requirements
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข U.S. citizenship
โ€ข Current TS/SCI clearance
โ€ข Current CI Poly or ability to obtain CI poly
โ€ข Bachelor's degree in a related discipline
โ€ข 8 Years of related experience supporting automated testing for test procedure development, maintenance, and execution
โ€ข Excellent written and verbal communication skills
โ€ข Ability to interpret requirements and translate them into precise test cases
โ€ข Must be comfortable in a coordination role interacting with Government and contractor staff across functional and technical areas
โ€ข Proficiency creating automated test scripts; Experience with HP Unified Functional Testing Software (UFT) or other automated testing software is highly desired
โ€ข Familiarity with the concepts of Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS)
โ€ข Knowledge of the SQL database query language to assess the state of the data before and after test transactions are performed
โ€ข Ability to detect, report, and explain defects effectively
โ€ข Ability to plan, set goals, and determine strategies for accomplishing results
