Salary Range: $57,000.00 - $72,000.00 Salary/year

Job Purpose

The Quality Assurance Associate I (QA I) will perform the quality assurance functions under the direction of the QA Supervisor and in accordance with Powermatic's Quality Management System (QMS).

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
  • Provide direct assurance to customers via QMS info packet and/or direct response to customer Quality System questionnaires.
  • Assist with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality document updates as processes change.
  • Support the management of Powermatic's formal 8D Problem Solving system, including quality-related problems originating externally as well as quality-related problems originating internally.
  • Assist during customer audits, ISO audits, and other external audits.
  • Support the management of Powermatic's Internal Audit Program.
  • Support the oversight of Powermatic's Critical Tools Program.
  • Support precision cleaning activities through review of cleaning records, acceptance data, and documentation release for the cleanroom.
  • Perform other quality related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QualificationsQualifications & Skills
  • Understanding of quality management systems and how to improve upon them
  • Knowledgeable of ISO 9001: 2015 standards
  • Familiarization of wiring diagrams/schematics
  • Understanding of the principles of metrology
  • Education - BS in relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years of quality related experience or demonstrated knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above-mentioned tasks.
  • Proven experience as a Quality/ Process Administrator or relevant role
  • Solid Technical Skills - working knowledge of MS Office 365
  • Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytic mindset
  • Outstanding organizational skills
  • Strong understanding of the importance of documentation
  • Abilities - Project Coordination and Time Management
  • Prior product familiarization/knowledge preferred.
