Job description

Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager

Eskola, LLC | Full-Time | $140,000–$160,000 (Based on Qualifications & Experience)

Eskola, LLC has been installing commercial and industrial roofing and waterproofing systems throughout the North and Southeastern U.S. since 1972. We are looking for a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to build out our quality program from the ground up — partnering with Project Managers, Superintendents, and crews to catch issues early, protect warranty integrity, and strengthen relationships with the customers we serve.

This is a hands-on, standalone role reporting directly to our COO, with the opportunity to shape how quality is performed across the company as we grow.

What You Will Do

  • Review project specs ahead of site visits and prioritize your caseload based on risk — GP exposure, complexity, and project history
  • Partner with field teams on-site to coach toward manufacturer spec compliance and catch issues before they become callbacks
  • Build our QA/QC manual, checklists, and standard operating procedures
  • Serve as a trusted point of contact for owners and property managers throughout the project and beyond
  • Train and mentor foremen, superintendents, and crews on installation quality standards
  • Investigate warranty claims and leak calls to determine root cause and drive resolution
  • Perform other duties and tasks as assigned to support business needs

What We Are Looking For

  • 5+ years in commercial roofing and/or waterproofing, including 2+ years in a QA/QC, superintendent, or inspection role
  • Strong knowledge of low-slope roofing and waterproofing systems and manufacturer warranty requirements
  • Comfort building a program independently and managing a full caseload without a support team
  • Willingness and ability to travel across multiple sites and states, covering Eskola's footprint in the Southeast, Southwest, and Central U.S.
  • Strong communication skills — you're just as comfortable on a roof as you are talking through findings with a customer

Preferred Skills & Certifications

  • GAF, Carlisle, Sika, or Firestone QA/QC certifications
  • RRC/RRO designation, OSHA 30, or infrared thermography certification
  • Experience with CenterPoint or similar construction management software

Why Join Eskola?

  • Trade-specific training & room to grow within the company
  • Medical (2 plans, including HDHP with HSA & company match)
  • 401(K) with Company Matching
  • Company-provided technology/equipment as needed
  • Dental, Vision, Life, & Disability Insurance
  • Paid Time Off
