Reserve, LA (Headquarters) | Full-Time

About DSC

DSC Dredge is a world leader in portable cutter suction dredges engineering and manufacturing equipment for aggregate mining and sand & gravel production, environmental remediation, coastal restoration, navigational maintenance, and marine construction across the U.S. and in more than 50 countries worldwide. We operate from our headquarters in Reserve, Louisiana and our manufacturing facility in Poplarville, Mississippi.

The Role

We are looking for a Project manager to track and coordinate dredge builds through every stage of the manufacturing process. From project turnover through sales, production, testing and delivery. You will maintain the schedules, forecasts, and reporting that keeps engineering, productions, and our customers aligned by flagging changes in timeline or scope before they become problems. This role is highly collaborative and detail driven, requiring close coordination with Sales, Engineers, Quality Assurance.

What You Will Do
  • Participate in project turnover meetings, receiving initial project documentation and organizing it within project storage systems.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using standard coding and work breakdown structures, establishing critical path and total project duration.
  • Track milestones and planned ship dates by participating in production meetings, communicating with Production Coordinators, and monitoring job status in an ERP system.
  • Forecast cost, scope, and schedule outcomes, updating project control documents and databases as new inputs come in from project review meetings.
  • Initiate and prepare periodic status reports according to approved execution plans, communicating timeline changes internally and to customers.
  • Coordinate with Engineers, and Quality Assurance to process modifications and corrections to project specific documents.
  • Prepare and process client requested data and documents in compliance with contract terms and client specifications.
  • Examine project documents for completeness and accuracy.
What You Bring
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 3 + years of project management experience in industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, with the ability to build schedules, forecast timelines, and generate client-ready reports.
  • Clear and effective communication across internal stakeholders and external customers, vendors, and partners.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to take direction from multiple leaders and shift priorities as needed
  • Willingness to travel when required
