Job Description

Allied Universal® is hiring a Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager. The Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager is a designated Key Personnel position responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the Quality Control Program in support of Protective Security Officer (PSO) contracts for a high profile customer. This role ensures full compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW), contractual requirements, and federal security standards through systematic inspections, audits, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) Manager serves as the primary authority for quality control activities, working closely with the Contract Manager, supervisory staff, and Government representatives to maintain operational excellence and contractual compliance.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Quality Control Program Oversight

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the contract-specific Quality Control Plan (QCP) in accordance with SOW requirements
  • Define inspection methods, frequencies, performance metrics, and reporting processes
  • Ensure all quality control activities to address deficiency reporting, discipline procedures, inspection checklists, quality control activity frequency and reporting

Inspections and Audits

  • Conduct and/or oversee recurring inspections of PSO performance and post compliance, uniforms, equipment, and certifications, timekeeping, personnel files and training records
  • Ensure inspections are both announced and unannounced, covering all posts and personnel on a recurring basis
  • Utilize inspection tools and systems (e.g., Heliaus or equivalent) for real-time documentation and reporting

Compliance Monitoring

  • Ensure all PSOs meet contractual requirements, including licensing and permits, training and certifications, fitness determinations, weapons qualifications
  • Verify compliance with Training Academy Management System (TAMS), Post Tracking System (PTS), and all client systems
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could result in open posts or non-compliance findings

Deficiency Identification and Corrective Action

  • Document all deficiencies identified through inspections, audits, or Government feedback
  • Initiate and track corrective actions to closure, including immediate on-site corrections, retraining, disciplinary actions (as appropriate)
  • Notify the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) of deficiencies and corrective actions within required timelines (e.g., within 24 hours)

Reporting and Deliverables

  • Prepare and submit required reports, including monthly Quality Control Inspection Reports, deficiency reports and corrective action tracking, trend analysis and performance metrics
  • Ensure reports are submitted to the Contracting Officers Representative no later than the 10th of each month
  • Maintain all Quality Control documentation and make records available to the Government upon request

Continuous Improvement and Performance Analysis

  • Analyze inspection results, audit findings, and performance trends
  • Identify systemic issues and implement process improvements
  • Participate in internal quality control reviews/committees to evaluate trends, standardize best practices, improve contract performance

Coordination and Communication

  • Serve as liaison between Contract Manager / Task Order Manager, supervisory staff, client Contracting Officers Representative and Protective Security Operations Officer (PSOO)
  • Support Government audits, inspections, and covert testing activities
  • Participate in monthly performance meetings with the client representatives

Support to Quality Assurance (Government Oversight)

  • Facilitate Quality Assurance activities, including audits, surveillance, covert testing, tenant feedback reviews
  • Ensure transparency and responsiveness to Government oversight efforts

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Possess, or be able to obtain a Security Clearance up to the Top Secret level
  • Valid driver’s license if driving a company or customer owned vehicle
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in quality assurance or quality control for personnel-based service contracts
  • Demonstrated experience monitoring contract compliance, inspections, and performance metrics
  • Strong knowledge of government contract relationships to include security operations and personnel compliance
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement corrective actions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Experience supporting Protective Security Officer (PSO) contracts or similar federal security programs
  • Familiarity with Training Academy Management System (TAMS), Post Tracking System (PTS), government compliance requirements
  • Experience using inspection/reporting technology platforms
  • Background in law enforcement, military, or contract security operations

SALARY: $72, 000.24 annually

BENEFITS:

  • Eight paid holidays annually, five sick days, and four personal days
  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
