Job Description QA/QC for Construction Benefits: Medical, Dental, PTO, 401K, Sick Time Quality Assurance (QA): Willing to travel to jobsites. Review and fully understand job specifications, submittals, and drawings (including flow diagrams and boundaries) for quality-related scopes. Implement and oversee the QC Plan for specific projects.

Ensure compliance with established welding quality assurance procedures, including documentation such as WPS, PQR, Weld Logs, and Weld Travelers. Monitor all mechanical scopes of work, including subcontractor installations. Verify that all mechanical testing, flushing, and cleaning activities comply with contract documents.

Establish and manage a non-conformance and corrective actions program. Maintain accurate turnover documentation throughout the project in both digital and hard copy formats. Quality Control (QC): Conduct receiving inspections for incoming materials and equipment.

Perform component verification for major equipment as per approved submittals. Oversee and ensure proper implementation of welding quality control measures. Monitor the installation and performance of all mechanical scopes, including the work completed by subcontractors.

Commissioning Responsibilities (as needed): Witness and document Factory Acceptance Testing for required mechanical equipment. Coordinate pipe flushing, cleaning, and disinfecting processes, sometimes in collaboration with third-party vendors. Facilitate mechanical start-up activities with vendors or qualified technicians.

Manage commissioning activities in collaboration with third-party commissioning groups, internal support teams, clients, and subcontractors. Qualifications & Education: Minimum of a two-year degree in Business, Construction Management, or Mechanical Engineering. Hands-on or on-the-job training opportunities are available, along with ongoing educational support.

Required Skills & Experience: Proficiency in Good Documentation Practices (GDP). Strong ability to read and interpret isometric drawings, schematics, and flow diagrams. Familiarity with various types of testing equipment and the ability to interpret results.

Strong verbal and digital communication skills to effectively interact with employees, clients, and subcontractors. Professional demeanor with a positive, team-oriented attitude. Open-minded approach with a focus on continuous improvement.

Competency with computer software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, BIM, Bluebeam, and cloud-based servers. Ability to quickly adapt to new procedures and workflows. Flexibility in work hours, including availability for after-hours testing when required.
