Job description

Sanmina is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with 2+ years of experience in electronics manufacturing and high-volume production environments. In this role, you will develop, evaluate, and implement technical QA protocols to inspect and test incoming materials, in-process assemblies, equipment, and finished products. The ideal candidate is skilled in root cause investigations, corrective actions (CAPA), and Statistical Process Control (SPC) to ensure strict compliance with customer, regulatory, and manufacturing standards.

You will collaborate closely with production, engineering, and supplier quality teams to drive continuous improvement, reduce defects, and elevate overall product quality. Core Qualifications Quality Assurance & Manufacturing Quality Systems Incoming, In-Process, and Final Product Inspection Statistical Process Control (SPC) Root Cause Analysis (5 Whys, Fishbone, Pareto Analysis) Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) Failure Analysis and Defect Reduction Process Validation and Manufacturing Audits Supplier Quality and Material Inspection Engineering Drawing and Specification Review Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement Data Collection, Analysis, and Quality Reporting ISO 9001 and Quality Management Systems Professional Experience Developed and implemented quality assurance procedures and inspection plans for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products in a manufacturing environment Performed quality inspections and testing to verify compliance with engineering specifications, customer requirements, and industry standards. Analyzed production and quality data to identify trends, process variations, and opportunities for improvement.

Utilized SPC techniques to monitor manufacturing processes, improve process capability, and reduce product defects. Conducted root cause investigations and supported CAPA activities to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence.\ Collaborated with Manufacturing, Process, Mechanical, Industrial, and Electrical Engineering teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Reviewed nonconforming material reports (NCMRs) and participated in disposition and corrective action activities

Supported internal audits, quality system compliance activities, and continuous improvement projects. Assisted with validation of manufacturing equipment, inspection methods, and process controls Generated quality documentation, inspection reports, and performance metrics for management review. Experience with Six Sigma and/or Lean Kaizen Experience with in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPTs, ISO9000, and TL9000 standards.

Education Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. Sanmina is an Equal Opportunity Employer Salary Range (annual): $80,000 - $90,000 Actual base pay within this range (determined at the offer stage) will be based on a candidate's years of relevant work experience, education, certifications, and skills, and is just one element of our total rewards package. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and participation in a discretionary bonus program.
