Job Description:
  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of QA experience.
  • The QA will work on a system call BOS (Branch Office System). For example when you go into a branch and use their services whether its registering a vehicle or paying for a license all this information is housed in their Branch Office System. This tester will be doing testing on this system.
  • This system is a keyboard heavy interface and they would prefer someone to have had some exposure to keyboard testing (just preferred).
  • This system was written in VB6 in 2001 and they are in the process of upgrading it to .net however the system has to work like the current one so the keyboard testing will be the same. Someone who came from a branch could do this job.
  • Analyze user stories and create, document and execute relevant testable scenarios
  • Prepare Test Plans, Test cases and Test Strategy documentation
  • Develop, maintain and execute test cases
  • Partner with engineers, product owners, and other team members as appropriate
  • Find and appropriately document defects, and validate fixes
  • Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and understanding of project
  • Mentor and guide other team members to support overall team objectives
  • Provide status updates to managers, and escalate issues appropriately
