Responsibilities & Expectations:
As a Quality Assurance Coordinator for IPS, you will apply Servant Leadership principles to build trust and open communication as you assist in managing the IPS quality systems (CIPS). This position will also include quality activities to ensure that all repairs, services, supplied material, and contract work meet customer requirements and reduce warranty and shop rework.
Nuclear Quality Program Oversight
Maintain compliance with 10CFR50 Appendix B, 10CFR21, and NQA-1 requirements.
Assist in maintaining the Approved Supplier List (ASL) and commercial grade dedication (CGD) activities.
Work with vendors for quoting/pricing for Safety Related materials, including creating purchase order addendums
Assist management and supervision to implement corrective and preventative actions to eliminate deficiencies.
Perform and review contract reviews, in-process inspections, and final documentation to ensure full compliance with nuclear program requirements.
Maintain accurate and complete nuclear records; ensure document control measures prevent the use of outdated or unapproved documentation.
Quality Systems & Continuous Improvement
Support customer-specific quality management systems.
Maintain calibration systems, including M&TE logs and out-of-tolerance evaluations.
Oversee documentation of inspection and testing requirements, including hold/witness points.
Drive continuous improvement using data analysis, KPI tracking, and trending of quality metrics (nonconformances, warranty, rework, audit results, etc.).
Qualifications and Competencies:
Minimum of 5 years' professional experience
Training and experience in quality assurance
Willingness and ability to handle a variety of responsibilities
Ability to relate well with others in a professional and knowledgeable manner
Ability to train others
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in MS applications or equivalent statistical software
