QA Functional Testing is a type of software testing that verifies whether each function of an application operates according to the specified requirements. It focuses on testing the user interface, APIs, databases, security, and other functionalities of the software to ensure they work correctly. Testers perform these tests by providing appropriate input and comparing the actual output with the expected output. Functional testing helps identify issues in the application's features and ensures that the software delivers the required business value.
