What You'll Do

As a QA/QC Technician Lead, you will play a key role in supporting our quality systems and helping maintain the highest standards of product safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and quality checks throughout the manufacturing process
  • Investigate and document non-conforming materials and assist with root cause analysis
  • Perform laboratory testing, including heat seal testing, retained solvent testing, COF testing, barcode verification, and other quality evaluations
  • Generate Certificates of Analysis and maintain quality records
  • Train and support production employees on quality procedures and testing methods
  • Assist with corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Process customer returns and support rework activities when needed
  • Maintain quality hold areas, retain samples, supplier documentation, and laboratory equipment
  • Partner with production teams to identify opportunities for improvement and reduce quality-related costs
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and accountability throughout the facility

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a quality control or quality assurance role
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related reporting tools
