Job Title: QA Engineer
Location: Wayne NJ
Shift/Hours: 1st shift from 7AM-4:30PM on a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off
Job Description & Responsibilities:
  • Develops, modifies, applies and maintains quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished materials product.
  • Devises and implements methods and procedures for inspecting, testing and evaluation
  • Quality Assurance Engineering Experience Program process definition and documentation
  • Review/Inspect product Sell off product to DCMA Create Non-Conformance when needed Daily ESD Check Creation of DCMA Submittal
  • Presentation of product to customer for acceptance/ "sell off" Preparation of documentation packages for customer review Hardware
 
Required Qualifications:
  • U.S. Citizenship is required due to DOD Project ITAR regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technology, and from zero to eight (0-8) years of experience.
  • First Article Inspection (FAI) AS9102 experience Green Belt/ Black Belt certification
  • Hands on experience in a Defense Contracting Environment AS9145- Advanced Product Quality Program Exposure Manufacturing of complex electronic assemblies
  • Inspection Criteria Quality Management Systems (AS9100) Quality Auditing Configuration Control and Hardware Configuration Reporting Participation Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) activities
  • Use of tools such as but not limited to: Microscopes, calipers, MS Office scanners, printers and copiers
  • Ability to read, interpret and understand drawing, print and specification
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications including word, excel, power point Ability to learn BAE Systems software and data management programs
  • DOD experience
