JOB SUMMARY:

Performs highly technical activities that ensures that development and/or maintenance processes are compliant to meet the customer's product specifications. Conducts and leads product investigations using experimental design techniques and root cause analyses. Interfaces with the customer when non-conformance issues occur.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Total ownership of product investigations, including strategy of approach, design of experiments, execution of testing, data collection and analysis and protocol, corrective action and incident reporting.

2. Develop and validate methods for analyzing products to ensure that they meet customer specifications and document those methods in standard operating procedures.

3. Investigate, document and define disposition position for non-conforming raw materials, finished products and returned materials. Prepare lab samples as needed.

4. Support the development and establishment of finished product and raw material specifications through testing and trending analysis.

5. Lead cross functional communications and meetings with in-house experts to develop and deploy solutions that ensure the highest level of product quality.

6. Primary ownership of Quality equipment including calibrations and maintenance.

7. Evaluate raw materials and products to identify methods to improve the process or formulation with detailed technical reporting

8. Prepare, Review and Implement ISO-9001 Quality Assurance and Quality Control Procedures.

9. Audit quality control and production functions and other records to ensure compliance with SOPs.

10. Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.
