Job Summary:
The University of New Hampshire is an R1 Carnegie classification research institution known for its comprehensive undergraduate and graduate programs. The Research Assistant will develop visualizations of satellite data, create interactive laboratories, and support outreach activities related to virtual reality applications in education.
Responsibilities:
• Design VR environments in Unity to create interactive laboratory activities for educational material that traditionally does not have a laboratory component
• Create visualizations of 3D datasets gathered from satellites
• Translate physical concepts and Python scripts into Virtual Reality graphics and interactions
• Bring the VR environment to local classrooms for demonstrations and show-and-tells
