Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION: Define, document, and maintain requirement-based test cases and verification criteria derived from system and software requirements to support V&V activities. Develop, implement, and operate continuous integration (CI) and automated test suites for development and deployment gates, including unit, integration, system, and gating tests. Design and manage gating tests and release criteria to enforce code quality, traceability, and safety constraints for software promoted to test and production branches. Integrate simulation-based validation (hardware-in-the-loop or software-in-the-loop) into CI pipelines to provide early functional feedback and increase coverage of edge / safety scenarios. Expand and improve test coverage, test usability and test orchestration tooling to detect critical defects earlier in the development cycle. Analyze CI/test failures, triage flaky tests, and collaborate with software developers, release engineers, and DevOps to ensure build stability and pipeline health. Maintain and improve release automation, artifact management, and deployment gating for autonomous software stacks; author documentation, runbooks, and release checklists. Participate in cross-functional design reviews and safety assessments to ensure testability, traceability, and compliance of deliverables. Lead working groups to define verification metrics and continuous quality monitoring.
Minimum Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 3 years of relevant automotive software experience. Must have experience with: developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and automated test frameworks for complex software systems (such as Github Actions, Jenkins); building, running, and integrating simulation-based tests into CI workflows (software-in-the-loop or hardware-in-the-loop); using Python to triage, analyze, and process data; Linux development environments and container technologies (Docker); troubleshooting CI/build/test failures to stabilize builds and test runs; software safety/verification concepts (requirement-based testing, V&V); and SOTIF / ISO 26262 implications for verification activities.
Alternative Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of relevant automotive software experience.
