Python/Big Data Admin

Location: Pittsburgh, PA

Duration: 6 To 12 Months

Visa: GREEN CARD/CITIZEN/H1B/H4EAD/GC EAD

Good understanding of Hadoop as a platform, with knowledge on some of the tools (Hive, Impala, Oozie etc.), candidate doesn't have to be an expert. Background of programming on Java or python – this is critical as there will be a lot of custom development work involved. Strong analytical skills, able to provide out of the box solutions and adopt open source technologies. This is the key, talking to the client, I understand that the right attitude of the candidate will be key for this position; the candidate must be open to learning new technologies and show interest. Client is willing to onboard someone with less experience on Hadoop and has the right attitude and train him / her.
