Job Summary:
DSA is looking for a Technical Project Manager with a hands-on approach to managing complex project activities. The role involves acting as the primary point of contact for customer relations and ensuring project visions are translated into actionable technical requirements, particularly in software development environments.
Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary liaison between product owners, stakeholders, and the development team, managing expectations, providing status updates, and facilitating feedback loops.
• Author and maintain comprehensive Project Charters and Project Plans that define scope, objectives, and success metrics.
• Ensure team follows SCRUM ceremony practices (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives) and manage the product backlog.
• Track task progress, identify bottlenecks, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality applications.
• Conduct regular 'pre-mortems' and maintain Risk Register to proactively manage threats to project scope or timeline.
• Coordinate with Python (backend) and JavaScript (Frontend/Full-stack) developers to ensure technical feasibility and optimal resource allocation.
Qualifications:
Required:
• 6-10 years of Project Management experience in software development environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing concurrent workstreams and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Extensive experience in drafting project documentation, including milestone task targets, risk registers, and delivery roadmaps.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to 'translate' technical jargon for non-technical clients.
• Proven ability to manage demanding customer relations, translating complex technical hurdles into clear business impacts.
• TS/SCI clearance
Preferred:
• Strong foundational knowledge of Python and JavaScript (React, Vue, or Node.js) to effectively communicate with engineers and estimate task complexity.
• Proven track record managing Agile/SCRUM teams and using tools like Jira or GitLab.
• Expert proficiency in MS Project, Jira, or other applications for complex activity scheduling and resource leveling.
