The Opportunity:
AgMonitor is looking for a driven Project Manager to lead customer success and advanced projects in San Joaquin Valley. You'll work closely with growers and foods processors within the S&M team to manage a portfolio of SaaS clients and Professional Service projects, own deliverables, and improve processes. This new position will have an opportunity to impact on the lives of our clients by advocating for their needs, and our product roadmap by working on advanced projects (NEM3, OpenET, Regenerative Ag, etc.). The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the energy sector and a passion for agriculture.

  • Work closely with Program Director and Tech Support to deliver Professional Service projects
  • Absorb technical knowledge and become a superuser of AgMonitor at the nexus of Energy & Water
  • Support existing clients through digital transformation and own customer success (Level 7-10)
  • Follow-up with meetings and leverage our SaaS platform to provide actionable insights
  • Articulate our value proposition and demonstrate measurable impact ($/kWh, kWh/AF, Ton/AF)
  • Collaborate with R&D team and product manager on advanced projects (CEC, CDFA, or GSA) to solve real-world challenges and prototype new features
  • Build and maintain strong, consultative relationships with clients and partners
  • 3+ years of experience in food sector or energy services. Exposure to AI a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Crop Science, Environmental Science, or Engineering
  • Experience working with messy real data using statistical tools (e.g. Excel, R, or Python)
  • Familiarity with utility rate structures and irrigation systems. Exposure to batteries a plus
